I painted this cute leaf-and-flower arch in a soon-to-be nursery, arcing over where the baby’s crib will stand. The client wanted a simpler style than I usually do, so I used the opportunity to maximize bright colors and clean lines. By request, I also included a small poppy flower with a bumblebee near the door as a nod to the baby’s nickname. The result is a simple but beautiful design that will frame the baby’s crib perfectly. (Completed in January 2023; approximately 13.5 hours of work. Note as of January 2023: the baby has yet to be born and the crib has yet to arrive, so I currently don’t have pictures of the room’s final layout. I hope to update this soon!)
